It is a very strange world we live in 2022. What can possibly be coming at us next?
One answer to this question is found in the Bible in the book of Matthew chapter 10.
V 21: Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put to death, and you will be hated by all because of my name (Jesus of Nazareth).
What is does not say here is that when the child rises up against the parents they may be doing it because they think they are serving God. The deception is so complete, truth is twisted to the point, the lies have been told for so long they have taken on a life of their own so the “child” is caught in the web of their own lies and cannot see a way out, or the way out costs them their own life.
This evil is set in motion by the rebellion of Lucifer and the new world order.
But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
V 26: …have no fear of them, for nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known. What I say to you in the dark, proclaim from the housetops. Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body.
Lies are the soul killer. The perpetrator of lies is the one who can kill both soul and body.
Even more dangerous than the perpetrator of lies is the one deceived into believing the lies and takes action according to the lie. This is the path of the current day “zealot” who think themselves in service to God perhaps even to the point of taking up arms driven to the religious frenzy from “insider information” or reports perhaps even from their pulpit. It is not from righteousness they do this.
The information on the internet is only as good as the intent of the one who put it there. Institutions we used to be able to trust are no longer trustworthy. Even medical records can be made up of fabricated lies.
The closer you are to God and follow Jesus and stick to truth in your own life, the more probable it is you will be lied about. If the first round of simple lies does not break you, then the campaign against you will most probably heat up and deeper more damaging lies will follow. As they perpetrators get to know you they will find out what matters to you and that is what they will say against you.
The progression in my own life went something like this:
1. smokes
2. drinks alcohol/gets drunk
3. sleeps around
4. is on drugs
5. whores or is a prostitute
6. you are “bad”
7. and most recent just last week….. you are a lie. Not you tell lies. YOU are the lie.
With each new accusation they get better and better at what will do the most damage to me and my soul…… IF I LET IT.
I am the captain of my soul. I decide if I will allow the latest campaign against me to kill me.
The Lord God set before me and each one of us today two doors: LIFE and death. CHOOSE LIFE. It really is that simple. Just choose LIFE. You know that lie has nothing to do with you. Do not let anything move you off that truth. No matter what or how long it takes.
