My ex-father-in-law was a 33rd level Mason. He came to me one day saying, “What are you going to do when you find out everything you were told, everything you believe, is a wrong. They lied to you.” I was a Bible thumpin’ leader in my religious community who memorized great portions of the Bible and had all the answers. I think that particular question was posed to me about Mary Magdalene being a whore. I thought what I was told to think. I did not take the time to check it out for myself. Why would I? My pastor said so……. from the pulpit. No less. So, it was doctrine. Mary Magdalene did not get called a whore until the 6th century. One of the popes speaking infallibly declared she was a prostitute…. and so it was. It is much closer to real fact that the one knows as Mary of Magdala was a rare businesswoman in her day selling purple in the temple. She met Jesus of Nazareth there and they were married according to Jewish law under Ketubah. Jesus fathered a child with Mary of Magdala, his wife, in the few days before his Crucifixion. James and John, the sons of Zebedee had to row Mary large with child to France to deliver their daughter because Peter was insanely jealous of a blood heir of Jesus and swore to destroy both of them. Mary delivered the daughter of Jesus of Nazareth in Southern France, and she named her Sarah.
That is a whole lot of stuff that went against everything I had ever known or been taught.
Another B I G lie I grew up with is the Pentecost infilling of the Holy Spirit was just for those who were there at the time. There is no move or infilling of the Holy Spirit in our day. Prophecy ended in the “Old Testament”.
Creator GOD made a way to indwell each and every true son in the mechanism of the infilling of the Holy Spirit at the new birth of all true sons. This is the very provision of GOD for human kind in our times and the gatekeepers/doorkeepers set over us did their best to keep us from receiving our supply.
With this much deception and betrayal from the ones who were sworn to lead us and guide us and protect us, what are we supposed to do? It is overwhelming. Where do we go? Whom do we run to?
It is written: “you have no need for anyone to teach you save the Holy Spirit”.
That sounds like we will all be hearing our own drummer. Sounds like it could be chaos. Your truth is your truth and your reality is your reality and mine is what I hear. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is well known in Africa and other continents and in the US on occasion masses of people congregate together because they were told to go to a certain place. Creator GOD is the ONE who made order out of chaos. The Holy Spirit is ONE voice, the still small voice, we who are true sons recognize. The Holy Spirit is speaking to us from Creator GOD to bring us home. That voice is the comforter that give us the abiding peace that passes all understanding.
The answer to the dilemma who and what do we believe in an information age sock full of lies is get your direction and your answer and your supply directly from Creator God through the One called Holy.
