Living the Tribulation January 14, 2025 Keeping oneself unspotted from the world

We are admonished to be in the world but not of the world. This is not such an easy task when the example we have from Jesus of Nazareth is washing your feet when you have just been walking around outside the house. We are told that those who “worship the image” will not have entrance into the New Heaven or the New Earth.  Until the advent of the world wide web (www) that was thought to be a sculpture or a molding or even a few years back for the Aboriginals in Australia just taking their picture with a camera. For all of us who spend our waking working hours on a computer looking at the images in the screen, it brings up some serious questions. If we are upwardly mobile being offered a promotion, does that new position mean we have to compromise what we know to be expected of a Child of God? To sin against God to do the job? It is a sobering fact that even our very thoughts will be judged at the White Throne Judgment. I didn’t know or he made me do it will not save us or exonerate us before God the Father.

Everything we do here and now in January 2025 matters. It all matters. It matters today. It matters then. It matters.

Jesus said, “In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these, my brothers and sisters, you have done it unto me.”
