It has become popular with preachers who lead a flock of fallen or prodigals or never saved or are themselves fallen, prodigal or have never met Jesus of Nazareth for themselves who glory in “taking the kingdom by force” to trumpet “God will do his part but you gotta do your part”.

If there was one dot or tittle or iota or whim or dream or any little thing we could do to save ourselves, Jesus of Nazareth would never have had to sacrifice himself on a cross…….
JESUS paid it all. ALL to HIM I owe.
R U N from anybody no matter who it is if they ever say to you, “I will do my part but you gotta do your part.” That person is a snake working out of a control spirit and if you agree to it even in the slightest second they have your soul. You belong to them. They dictate your every breath every increase and every curse. They have been captured by this line and they are trying to capture you. Do not let them. Tell them NO and run. Cut them off.
Jesus of Nazareth did everything and is everything for everything at all times worlds places thoughts deeds peoples complete finished done. There is nothing we can add to the work of Jesus of Nazareth on the cross.
“Our part” if you can even say that because Jesus of Nazareth and Creator GOD whom He serves knows there is no good thing in us everyone has turned to their own way seeking after other gods so Jesus and his angels set us up so that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Don’t you get it? Creator GOD knew there was nothing in us that will do the right thing so he sent his ONLY BEGOTTEN SON to time space to live and die for us WHILE WE STILL WOLLOWED IN OUR BLOOD OF UNCLEANNESS AND SIN. Creator GOD knows we will choose to keep our sin if given the choice……. so he manifested Jesus of Nazareth who knows our every weakness to K E E P us! Jesus bought us with his blood and Creator GOD made Jesus such that he will KEEP us. Jesus does not loose anything. He leaves the 90 and 9 and goes after the one who has strayed. His lovingkindness is immortal everlasting never ending. Love is what Jesus of Nazareth and Creator GOD are not just what they do. GOD IS LOVE.
Lets look at it this way. When a woman delivers a new born human baby, that baby does not even know enough to breathe! The doctors often have to jolt them into breathing. There is nothing a new born human being can do for themselves. The essentials are autonomic or automatic. For instance peeing. Creator GOD put the mechanism in their body and it functions without any input from the child. And Creator GOD gives that new born parents to feed them and clothe them at the right time. It has been demonstrated that a newborn baby can survive even without parents to feed them. Everything essential that child needs is already active in them.
Jesus says MY children hear MY voice and they know me. And again He who heareth and believeth Creator GOD has raised him from the dead Shall be saved. Jesus says you WILL hear His voice and Creator God says when you hear HIS voice you shall be saved. End of story.
DO NOT BE DECEIVED. SATAN ROAMS AROUND LIKE A LION SEEKING WHOME HE MAY DEVOUR. Thank Creator GOD WE HAVE A GOOD SHEPHARD WHO SAVES US with an all inclusive ride home.
