Satan is the serpent, the devil, the red dragon of the Book of Revelation in the Christian Bible who slithers up to Eve in the Garden in Eden and hisses the words, “Did GOD really say?” Satan is asking Eve if CREATOR GOD was really forbidding her and Adam to eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge in the midst of the garden. With that question the seeds of doubt were planted.
Eve told Satan She and Adam can eat of the fruit in the garden but of the tree in the midst of the Eden CREATOR GOD has said, “You shall neither eat from it nor touch it or it shall surely be death to you.”
The serpent counters the truth of GOD with the lies from the tree of knowledge. The serpent tells Eve that it is not true she will surely die. The serpent tells EVE CREATOR GOD is just saying that she will die because he kows that on the day she eats the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge her eyes will be opened and she will be like GOD knowing good and evil.
NOTE: There would be no good or evil to to know if it were not for the introduction of sin in Lucifer’s rebellion into the fabric of CREATION tearing a gaping hole. Satan wants Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil so that all the events that have led up to Lucifer being cast out of Heaven and stripped of his pipes and position can be entered into Earth record. Before Adam and Even disobeyed CREATOR GOD and consumed the fruit of the tree of knowledge no one living in Eden had any idea about the rebellion or the war in Heaven or that there had even ever been a challenge to the rule and reign and position of CREATOR GOD.
There are several lies embedded in the question “Has GOD really said” that the serpent asked Even. Lies the serpent uses to deceive you right now today. These lies are more weeds Satan planted in the Garden in Eden. Some of those lies are: 1. Knowing “Good and Evil” makes you like GOD.
2. Being like GOD or being a god is desirable.
3. GOD lies
4. CREATOR GOD is lieing to you.
5. CREATOR GOD is keeping something from you that you have the right to have 6. Eating the fruit will give you the greatest object in the world
7. CREATOR GOD does not want you having the greatest object in the world
8. You may die but it is not certain you will die
9. How do you know “death” is “bad” if you do not “know”
10. When you eat the fruit then you will “know”
11. The reason you do not “know” is because your eyes are closed
12. When you eat the fruit your eyes will open
13 You are asleep now
14 Being asleep is a bad thing.
15 Being asleep means you are not like GOD
16 Because CREATOR GOD is awake
17 GOD “knows”
18 IF GOD really loves you would he keep you from “knowing”
19 Knowing Good and Evil is a “Good thing”. It has to be. GOD is good and he knows.
20. If you eat the fruit of the tree of Knowledge and you “know” you will become wise like GOD
21 Go ahead and try it. What is stopping you?
22 Nothing bad is going to happen to you.
23 All you have to do to be like GOD is follow me
Before Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of good and evil all they experienced was CREATOR GOD because all there was was CREATOR GOD. After they disobeyed GOD and ate from the Tree of Knowledge they became aware that good and evil existed, that there had been war in Heaven. That Satan the serpent had at one time been Lucifer the cherub that covered the throne of CREATOR GOD made of pipes singing praises without ceasing and that because of Lucifer’s rebellion they now had the choice to serve good or evil. This is the seed planted in Eden and the birth of polytheism.
There was no reason for Adam and Eve to know that good or evil existed. In their perfect world in the Garden in Eden before the fall neither good or evil existed. CREATOR is all that was. CREATOR was the all in all. CREATOR IS THE ALL IN ALL. Experiencing CREATOR and continual abiding in CREATOR the LIFE source was all there was for Adam and Eve. EXPERIENCING CREATOR AND ABIDING IN LIFE FORCE IS ALL THERE IS FOR US TODAY. Everything else is false and lies part of the weeds Satan planted in the garden.
